We are members of two associations held in high regard, The Wedding Photographers Association of Northern Ireland(W.P.A.N.I) & The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (S.W.P.P)
Both associations encourage photographers to gain more knowledge and qualifications within the Photographic Industry.
Members use professional camera equipment, have necessary equipment backups and are fully insured. Being a member of the association also means that if for any unforeseen reason your photographer is unable to attend your wedding our professional network means another will be on hand to save the day!

Our photographer Ian Jamison is a photographer from Belfast that is happy to take on work further a field. Wedding photography is his main service but Ian will also take on assignments for events such as company promotions, documentary, insurance and property sales. All photographic assignments will be taken very seriously and of a high standard and be done at a competitive affordable cost to the client. Have your wedding photographs taken telling the story of the big day. This service is a cost effective way of photographing your wedding. The photographs will be presented in a photobook that is a delightful luxury hardback book personalised with a hand bound cover printed with your photos on the front and back making a timeless and beautiful keepsake. You can also choose a presentation box or tin as an option for the book to keep it in pristine condition. They are the icing on the cake. Additional books may be purchased at a discounted rate at the same time. Ian is also a volunteer photographer for the Woodland Trust Picture Library and willing to work free of charge for any other needy charity in need of justified free help.

Engagement Photography Northern Ireland
Whether Engagement or pre-wedding shoots are a great opportunity for the bride and groom to get to know your photographer. This will also build your confidence in front of the camera and really helps you to relax in front of the camera.
It’s a chance for us to have a chat fresh air and make some great pictures! Engagement shoots are always casual and relaxed.
When arranging the engagement shoot we will arrange to meet up at you local park or beauty spot, for example Belfast Castle, Bangor Castle Gardens, Botanic Gardens, Crawfordsburn Country Park, Newtownards Scrabo tower or Stormont Estate.
Wear some casual outdoor clothing, Jeans are great, flat shoes for the girls. Wrap up warm and if you think it may rain, bring an umbrella.
You don’t even have to be getting married to use this service. So if you or you know someone else would be interested contact us for a chat.
If you book me for your wedding there is no charge for the engagement shoot, but there is a minimum order of £50 for others

A Sharper Shot is ideally situated Belfast, yet happy to travel to a wedding anywhere else in the country.
A Sharper Shot services include a make your own album service which means you get prints and disc with the photographs to make an album yourself. This service saves you hundreds of pounds.
If you don’t want to make your own album. you can have a top quality modern album, hand bound with the photographs colour, black and white or mixture of both.

The studio for hire has approximately 850 sq ft of shooting space in a old mill which retains some of its original features, and plenty of character. The studio is ideal for a whole range of photographers, however it will particularly appeal to those who like to use natural light as it has 3 huge windows down 1 side giving almost perfect daylight shooting conditions. For those who would rather use flash various lights are available brollies, backdrops and background support systems, chairs and other furniture, and plenty of other props. Your own ideas for sets can be discussed and I will do my best to accommodate you.
